Foreigner Registration for Visiting India
The Foreigner Registration Office is the primary agency to regulate the registration, movement, stay, departure, and also for recommending the extension of stay in India. Following are the foreigner regional registration offices in New Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Amritsar and Chief Immigration Office in Mumbai. In other places, the Superintendents of Police (SP) of the Districts are registration officers for foreigners.
