2nd call for visa interview
I gave my first interview on feb 10th to attend a conference on feb 23rd. I was placed under administrative processing for employment verification and told by VO that i would get the visa once the employment verification would be done. my employer got the email from US consulate to verify the employment on feb 16th and the reply was sent same day. I didnt hear anything from them until feb 25th when i was called by us embassy and told that the VO wanted to meet me again. The conference dates were already passed by then. I attended the second interview on February 29th and VO asked me if i still want to go to US since the conference dates had already been passed. I told him that there is another conference coming up of same nature in april first week. I also showed him the new invitation letter from the conference that is going to take place in april. He told me that my visa is approved but he asked me to submit my cv and travel history to a email address that he provided.i sent the requested documents same day. He told me that i would get my passport with visa stamped in next 2 3 days and wished me a nice trip to US. My status is still under administrative processing on ceac website. Is it possible that i still would not be able to get the visa? have any one of you been called for second interview like this?
