Employment Based Greencard

Here is my timeline of GC process -

12/16/2016 - Perm filed (Job classification was filed on 05/23/2016, it came through 7 months later!)
03/03/2017 - Perm approved
03/30/2017- I140 filed (premium)
04/19/2017- I140 approved
06/13/2017 - I485/EAD/AP
07/28/2017 - SR request for biometrics appointment raised
08/22/2017 - Biometrics appointment received
08/31/2017 - Biometrics appointment
10/19/2017 - Received EAD/AP
12/27/2017 - Case transferred to NBC
01/18/2017 - Notice about error in my child's I-693. Requested to submit new I-693 during interview.
01/30/2018 - Interview notice received
02/22/2018 - Interview completed
03/17/2018 - GC and approval notice received

Interview experience -
Based on experiences of several user's of this forum I decided to take the attorney along. I noticed that only 3 applicants had brought the attorney along around 9 other applicants did not have attorney present with them.

Interview itself was very straight forward. Just asked for my name, place of birth, citizenship, employer and yes/no questions from I-485 form (same for my Wife). Only other documents requested were W2, pay stubs and a letter from employer. All the photo copies submitted with the I-485 filing were verified by the officer (Passports, EAD/AP, birth certificates and marriage certificates.)

We were told your case is being held for further review and that it is standard procedure. USCIS has all the documents needed for adjudication.

Finally my journey comes to end nearly 2 years later! Best of luck to folks waiting on the GC process.

Note: Even though I have received my GC, my online status still says "interview is scheduled"
