Hi All,
I had the biometrics sessions at 13:30 on 01 Mar, reached by 13:00.
Boards will be kept stating time, stand in appropriate queue. Once in, it was done in 10 mins.
I had the consulate interview at 09:30 on 02 Mar, reached by 0900, long queue – no boards, common line.
At one place you will find queue is not moving – there is a stall for people to place bags and other material not allowed inside.
If you do not require such service, please move on.
Once in, visited one counter for biometric check, followed by another counter for interview. I was out by 10:00.
Only one question asked by visa officer : “can I have your passport” … after a few clicks on his system, he said “your visa is approved” :)
Remember - no bags, phone, USB tokens
Keep passport, appointment letter and DS 160 handy when nearing end of queue and at counters
