B1 rejected - need some info
Hi,

My B1 visa got rejected with 214 (b). Interview went like below..

VO: Why you are going to US?
Me: To participate in Business meetings and discussion with my client. He said ok for this.

VO: How long you will be stay in US?
Me: Its going to be 3 weeks. He said ok for this.

VO: Since how long working with current company?
Me: Its 3 years 5 months.. he said ok for this.

He asked only above 3 questions and typed something in system and threw 214 (b).

I had an experience in working in Singapore for similar business discussions and meetings and returned to India once I completed my meetings. How come VO judges and throw 214 (b) where it meant that I do not have any family, financial, professional, work related ties in my home country and also had past experience in some other country.

I am married and even I have mentioned all the necessary details like my spouse details and I am working since 3. 5 years in current company. In this case how VO can justify that I do not have above ties in India and decides I will not return from US to my home country.

This is really a frustrating experience in Mumbai Consulate.

Can someone tell me the procedure to reapply for B1 now.

Thanks in advance.
