I am confused regarding few things and no one is out there to guide completely.

I run a company (PVT LTD) from last 1 year. My client is located at California and he wants to have business meeting over there. I was told that he needs to send me invitation letter and thats all what i need from him. I gave my interview but was rejected under 214b.

Other conditions are:
I am CEO and i want BDM (Business development manager) to go with me.
I take $1800 salary from company and BDM salary is $800.
My BDM is working from last 6 months.

Few questions:
> Should my client be paying expense for our residence and other things and he will be arranging all? We have no problem to pay it but which is better option?
> Should my client call state department and give them application that he needs us? Any legal way by which he can convince his state department that its business need?
> Should we give interview in a group or individually?
> Should i apply again after three days?

Please advice
Thanks
