Business Visa - B1

I had my B1 Visa interview at the Hyderabad consulate on 30th Jan 2014 @8.30am. This is first time went my B1 visa interview.
(Earlier I had L1B rejection in 2007 and i also had Canada wp visa stamping in 2008)

Could you please anybody tell what is wrong in my answers as VO did not approve my visa.

When I went to window I saw the VO and wished him

Me: Good Morning..
VO: Give me your passport.

{I gave my passport in which I had my BEP letter. so I gave him both. He took the passport and he looked in to his system for few seconds}

VO: How long are you working for YYYY ?
Me: I have been working for the last 3 years and 9 months.

VO: Why are you going to Us ?
Me: I am going to attend technical training and discussions on YYYY software verification.

VO: Are you a Developer ?
Me: No, I am a Verification Engineer

{ In my BEP Letter my designation was given as Technical Lead. I told this answer because VO asked whether am I developer..}

VO: What is your annual salary ?
Me: YYYY Lacks per annm

VO: Why can't they come over here ?
Me: Since my training plan includes lab trainings which is not possible setup here. Thats why i am going.

VO: Are you married ?
Me: yes

Then he asked me keep right hand on the bio metric machine and took finger prints..then after few seconds he told

Sorry sir I cant approve your visa. This will explain you why (by giving slip 214(b)).

Can you anyone please tell me what went wrong in this interview.
