Its my time to contribute to Immihelp. I went thru this website before facing the visa interview and this helped me alot.

All was wrong till I attended the interview. Got very sick and has some productive cough and fever. Went to interview with the help of some antibiotics that doctor prescribed.

Day 1
At Visa processing center
They took photo and finger prints. No hassle. Only 5 minutes.

Day 2
At US Embassy Chennai

Usual security check up done
Do not Carry mobile.
Full formals with tie. Light colored plain shirt
Morning 7.30 Slot

VO - Good Morning
Me - Good morning

VO - Asked for my passport
Me - Just gave my pasport to the young lady VO (i did not say anything)

VO - Are you working with XYZ co
Me - Yes

VO - How long
Me - 4 years and 4 months

VO - Why u want want to visit US
Me - For training and business meetings (exact words)

VO - How long will u stay at US
Me - 3 weeks (mentioned 1 month in DS160)

VO - Who else are coming with me to attend the meeting
Me- May accompany my VP

Then came the Golden words
VO - I am approving your visa
Me - Thank you (with whole heart and expression)

Did not wait for even a second. Exited at 9.15.
11.30 - Per US visa website - Status - Administrative processing
2.00- Status - Issued

6.00 PM - Got an email that my passport is ready to pick up

Day 3
At same visa processing center
2.00 PM - Gom my visa stamped with 10 ys b1/b2 visa with multiple entry.

Now - Still wondering how I got my visa

Tips - Be confident and bold, dress fullu formals with a tie. Light colored shirt and matching trousers and a matching tie make you more professional.
