EB1C pre-filing difficulties
Hi all,

I wanted to get your views from those in or been in similar situations. I am on L1A and will be filing in EB1C category.

My employer is sponsoring my green card application and they hired an immigration attorney to assign to my case. I was approached by the immigration attorney back in Feb 2018 and they started their internal process of documenting my case. I have provided them with all information they asked for and since about Mar 2018 they have been working on building the case. They are still building the case. I occasionally follow up with them to see if they are getting close to finalizing my case and file for application but their answer have been the same every time "we are still working on building your case". Now, from your experience, how long does it typically take to build a case? Is it possible that the immigration attorney tends to deliberately delays the process? Is there something I can do to speed up the process or influence the pace of their work?

Any advice would be helpful, thank you all in advance!
