EB2 - AOS Interview
Hi... I got the AOS interview notice from USCIS for May 29, 2019. My AOS case was filed on Oct. 24, 2018.
Unfortunately my employer was going through difficult time and they were in layoff phase since Sep. 2018. Now on April 26, 2019, I got redundancy.... a total of 200+ people were let go. Now I am actively looking for job and being interviewed with my company as well as other employers. My question is
1. If I get a job with same company in different department but role responsibilities are similar to last position. If I join the company back before te interview date, will I need to file AC21 or inform them of the change of position.
2. If I get an offer with new employer and the role/title/pay is similar to what was at the time of I-140 filing. Can I start the job with new company without having my H1B transferred to them and file AC21 at interview time.
