I would like to thank all of the members of this site for sharing their experience and knowledge.
It's been a long journey for us, but finally it came to an end.
Sep 2016 - PERM recruitment started
January 12, 2017 - PD and when PERM filed
Mar 31, 2017 - PERM approved
June 16, 2017 - filed concurrently i140 (regular processing) and i485 for myself and dependents
July 12, 2017 - completed biometrics
Dec 8, 2017 - Raised SR for pending i140, status changed on same date "We mailed a request for initial evidence for your Form I-140"
Jan 19, 2018 - RFE response received by uscis
Feb 8. 2018 - i140 approved (got to know that only on Mar 26, after signing and checking at new uscis website)
Mar 14, 2018 - i485 cases transferred to NBC
May 10, 2018 - case changed to "We scheduled an interview for your Form I-485"
June 2018 - completed second medicals since my initial ones submitted on June 2017, and lawyer recommended to get new ones. In addition prepared i485j since many people were ask to provide this form even for concurrent cases.
June 14, 2018 - interview completed, approved recommendation letter received, but no status changed.
July 2, 2018 - got approval letter for i485 in the mail. same day only status changed to "We are producing your card and will mail it to you" with date June-27, and another status from June-28 "We approved your case", again statuses appeared only after physical letter received.
July 3, 2018 - got text notification with tracking number for the cards
July 5, 2018 - cards received in the mail.
In general, this was a very stressful and lengthy process, which at many periods in time, I wonder whether we would ever get through this and get our GC.
Be aware that statuses we got from both websites were very inconsistent, and even now for my i140 in new website still shows "Response To USCIS' Request For Evidence Was Received"
sometimes you get one status correct in one of them and another time it will be the other website, you don't really can tell which one is accurate.
Do NOT trust any website until you get the official letter in the mail.
Good luck to all, and hope you also get some good news very soon!
