I am thrilled to communicate to you all that my GC has been approved. I am very thankful to this forum for all the information and experiences that helped me survive this long process. Here is my timeline:
F1 Visa: 8/2006 through 5/2011
OPT: 5/2011 through 8/2011
H1B visa: 8/2011 - 4/2018 (applied for one year extension beyond 6 years)
Perm approval application filed: 6/20/2017
Perm approval: 10/1/2017
I-485/I-765/I-131 forms received by USCIS: 12/6/2017
Biometrics done: 2/15/2018
Interview scheduled notice received: 3/27//2018
interview scheduled: 5/3/2018
RFE issued for medicals and supplement J: 5/3/2018
GC approved: 6/26/2018
GC in the mail: 7/2/2018
After 12 years of hard work, dedication and sacrifice, I can finally say I am proud to be a merit-based U.S green card holder! Thank you all for your help!
