EB3 Process
Location: LA Downtown

I had my interview last Tuesday and got my application approved on the spot. The interviewer asked me and my wife about our relationship, how we met and when we got married and why the location we chose etc. He then went through my wife's immigration history (we're from different countries but met and got married in the US) by asking about her student visa and O2 visas that she had while working. He mainly asked me about my employment, if I was still working there, what my job duties are, what the correlation is between my work and the income the company makes. He asked a bit about my travel history, when the last time I entered the US was and things like that. I wish I knew about that beforehand, because I was not prepared so had to think to not answer anything wrong.

At one point he asked that I had an L1 visa in 2012 and he asked why I wasn't using it. I don't know if that was a trick question to see if I was paying attention or if he got the wrong dates, because I got very confused and had to correct him and say that I got my L-1 visa in 2016 which was the first time I visited the US.

My timeline:

2018/05/01 - Filed PERM application
