German Transit Visa--update
Hi All,
My niece travelled from Chennai to New Jersy by Luftansa on 4 Apr. She has a valid H4 visa. The travel involved a change of aircraft and a 5 hour wait at Frankfurt. She DID NOT need a transit visa.
I spoke to the German consulate in Mumbai and they too confirmed that a German transit visa is not required if the person has a valid US visa.
So relax guys !
