AT OFC (Biometric Round)

Note: I reached early there by 1:00 PM. I was taken IN by 1:45 PM

Receptionist: Good Afternoon

Me: Good Afternoon

Given my passport, DS-160 and Appointment Confirmation

She applied one barcode sticker back side of Passport

I left reception and go Ahead, One guy was scanning recently applied barcode and given me

token number. I was waiting in seating area and checking the LCD for my turn.

Once I got my turn I went to counter mentioned in LCD.

OFC: Passport please

Me: Passport Given

OFC: Put left hand fingers, right hand fingers and Thumbs and Live Photo (It was taken one by

one for left, right and thumb and live photo)

Me: It’s done. And I came out.

It is so smooth process..

AT Interview 07-Dec-2015 (09:00 AM)

Note: I reached there by 07:00 AM (So early, but I don’t know I will reach that much early, I

just want to make sure I am on time. Not required to go to much early just go 1 hour early as

there is long Q. I memorized all mostly asked questions and answers and documents ordered

So whenever document asked then I can give it easily)

Me: In Q outside the consulate, Scanned Barcode (applied on back of Passport at OFC). And

going inside for seating area.

Me: Waiting in seating area. Then go ahead to consulate

Me: Take out all thing you have in pockets except money (Make sure that you don’t carry any electronics devices or any other metals or bag) by India security guys. Checked my body and I collected my things from scanning area.

Me: Advised to be in Q

Indian Security Staff: Taken my passport for again barcode scanned by US staff. I again joined

the Q for interview process and manual.

My Turn comes: I got counter (window) number but I don’t remember that I think that was xx.

I was standing behind giving interview person and keep distance as instructed by staff.

Me: Good Morning Sir,

VO: Didn’t replied,

VO: Your passport please.

Me: I gave him passport

VO: Why are you going to USA?

Me: I didn’t clear his voice. So I said sorry. He repeated question again. I am going to USA for technical discussion and Requirement gathering.

VO: Which company are you working for?

Me: I am working for xxx infotech Pvt. Ltd.

VO: How long have you been working with?

Me: Since last x year and x month

VO: Why only you?

Me: I am working in this project since last x year. I am aware about the system. He interrupted

and asked next question.

VO: What will you do there?

Me: I will meet analyst team there for understanding requirement.

VO: Your VISA is approved

Me: Sorry I didn’t get his voice clearly. He repeated and I told “Thank You” I left the counter

immediately.

If you are going for business visa then try to be in smart formal wear and be confident through out the process. Don't listen queued interview question and answers.

For no document asked but carry all supported documents.
