Entered the US on F-1 and remained F-1.
8/2017: Priority Date
11/2017: Filed NIW I-140
1/2018: DOL PERM cert approved
2/2018: I-140(PERM), I-485 filed concurrently (regular processing)
8/2018: paid for premium processing, both I-140s got approved
11/2018: Case transferred to NBC
3/2019: Interview scheduled for end of April
4/2019: Interview, End of the day: New card is being produced
Interview Experience:
Fingerprint and photo at the front desk. Then the officer came and called my name within 10min of my appointment time. Went in with my wife. Took oath. He asked for all the passports, all previous EAD and AP cards, birth certificates and the translations, marriage certificate. He basically verified all the information on our I-485 forms. Then asked every yes/no question on the form simultaneously for both of us.
We had answered one of the questions wrong in my wife’s form (tourist visa denial), corrected during interview. At the end, handed me a paper stating that I attended the interview and case needs to be reviewed. At 10:00PM received text from USCIS that New Card is being produced!
He didn’t ask a single question outside of I-485 form. Overall, super nice and professional officer.
