Hi,

Here's my interview experience in Connecticut. We were interviewed separately, same questions were asked from both of us.

My Interview duration: 1 hour
Husband's interview duration: 45 mins

1. Basic details - name etc.
2. Designation, job role n responsibilities. How does my designation tie to my role, project details, promotion details, organization structure and how it ties to my role, examples of the work that i do
3. Any gaps in employment or H1b extensions
4. Have you worked illegally or have had multiple jobs at the same time
5. i485 questions - He went thru each n every detail in i485 and asked each questions one by one. Asked additional questions whereever he felt necessary.
After completing i485 questions, he again went thru some points and confirmed with me.
6. Do you have any other husband or kid anywhere else?
7. what is human trafficking?
8. Details about my place of birth and my parents
9. details about my traffic violation

IO asked for below docs:
1. Birth cert
2. Marriage cert
3. DL, SSN, Passport
4. EAD cards
5. Pay stubs, latest employment letter, tax transcripts, W2
6. Child's BC, SSN, Passport
7. Medical Examination results
8. Traffic violation ticket

IO was very courteous, extremely meticulous and well aware of the process.
