L1, L2 Visa

I had my appointment on Aug 20th at 9:45 in Chennai. I had my wife and an year and half old daughter with me. I reported there by 9:15 and was given preference to go inside the consulate. Our documents, infact, only D156 and 157 got verified in next 15 min. The documents verification counter had nearly 10 people in queue and we were told to skip the line and directly meet the person concerned. My daughter became cranky and was crying to take her out. :). NEVER ever shout on your kids or wife infront of the consulate people. Then I was told to go to the next building and pay the fee. I could finish off this in next 5 min. Then the D-time!! We were told to meet the counsellor (a lady). She is already engaged with some guy who is inspired to go to US on L1B. She is firing questions on him. We stood in line waiting for our chance. Then again my daughter started shouting..and I was trying to passify her. The lady told us to go away from there. I was totally shocked and moved away to the next counter. The VFS guy came there running and wanted me us to stand in another counter. This lady was still firing at the poor chap. The interview went like this:
Counsellor: GM Sir.GM Mam.
Me: Very GM Sir. How are you doing today?
C: Fine sir thank you. How about you?
Me: I am doing great. Thank you too.
He took time to remove the docs from my folder (BEP). I became confident some how..
C: So you work for ZZZ? Since how long?
(My daughter wants to stay with me and she was shouting in my ear. I didn't listen to his question).
Me: Pardon sir.
C: came close to the mic and repeated.
Me. For last x years.
C: Who is your client?
Me: YYY.
The expression on his face was like I work for a famouse client. I am happy again.
C: Since how long you r with the client?
Me: Y years.
After 2 min.. I was silent in the mean time..and my daughter shouting..
C: Laughed on my daughter's behavior and said hi to her.
As my daughter is reluctant to go to us, she didn't resond :)!
C: Today's date?
Me: Pardon sir (It seems we were testing my daughters patience as she started shouting more..)
My wife: Its 20th-Aug sir
C: Thanks Mam.
After 45 more sec..
C: You got visa sir, we will send your passport to your office by courier in another week. Have a nice trip sir.
Me and my wife: Thanks a lot. Have a very nice day.
My Daugher: Ahhhhhhhh!
He laughed again and said bye-bye sir.

The other counsellor was still shooting questions and the poor chap answering continued. We sat there for next 5 min to keep our docs in place and finally could glance the guy still being shooted with questions.

Its my daughter who helped us to get the visa with minimum effort. The counsellor was too good person and it is true with everyone there. The way people behave might be little different but finally it is our answers that decide our fate. You could expect NO other questions outside this site. As many experts said, do not answer "Java and other technologies" for specilized knowledge questions. Also be thorough with the content of your petition.
