L1, L2 Visa

First of all thanks for the wonderful site which helped me plan properly for the interview.

My interview was today morning at 8:15 at chennai, the whole process took 30 minutes after I got in the consulate.

I'll go straight to the interview part.

The lady I went to I had noticed earlier was pleasant,

Me: Hi Good Morning,
VO: Good morning

I gave my teal colour folder with docs.

she typed in something asked me to place my left hand Index finger for scanning,


VO: Where were you before you joined YYYY company
ME: This is my first job.

VO: Who is your client?
ME: YYYYY

VO: How long you been with the client?
Me: NN months

Vo: In years?
Me: X years Y months

VO: How long in this project?
Me: NN months, that is X years Y months

VO: What you going to do for client?
Me: I am going to design and customise the company tools and deploy them at onsite.

VO: Your visa has been approved , passport will be sent over.
Me: Thank you.


What i have seen after going through the past experiences shown here and talking to people who were rejected and others is that you have to let the VO know that you have enough experience to get the expertise in the tools and client.

Many people who got rejected stated experience with client for 9-11 months, that is not going to make you an experienced person, so please plan and prepare like an experienced person would do.
state at least 2-3 years with client and project.

Like many others were telling before, they take around 5-10 mins for you , they know nothing, nothing about your project, its all on what you say, how you say it. So plan accordingly.
