Hi All,
To begin with I would like to thank immihelp for the guidance provided it was extremely helpful.
There is abundance of information on this site that is useful, few tips from my side -
1) Carry money, it often happens that your photo is not accepted (even if it was accepted in DS160). US consulate have a photographer who clicks and gives photos within 10 minutes for 100 bucks. Very thoughtful of the consulate people. Good job.
2) Money is also useful if you are going with kids as they have a trolley where you could buy waffer, cold drink, juice etc.
3) Keep your answers short 2-3 sentences. This was one great tip that helped a lot.
4) Answer only to the question that was asked do not give unnecessary info
5) If you want to add something ask for permission. "Could I throw some more light on Xyz...."
6) You should be very clear what your specialization is. This is the most important as L1B means specialization.
7) Make sure you have all the documents in the right order. Make an index if required. If the VO ask for a doc and you keep searching this would make you nervous.

Thats it from my side. Best of luck.
