My L1-B got approved on 21Aug.My appointment was at 8:15am.I reached the consulate by 7:20 itself.To my surprise the security person outside the consulate asked me to stand in the line for entering.
First the security persons inside cheked whether we are carrying the mobile phones or the sealed covers.Then the Prescreening..there we need to give our finger prints.Then I moved to the next building where the interview happens. Before I went for the interview I paid the DD in one of the counters. Then I was interviewed.
While I was standing in the queue before the interview I noticed a VO who approved all the VISAs which came to him.Luckily I went to him for my interview.
The VO asked me the following questions.
VO:Good Morning
VO:How long you are working for YYYY ?
VO:Who is your client?
VO:How long you are working with this client?
VO:What are you going to do in US?
VO:Who has developed this project is it the client or your company?
VO:Thankyou.....
Meanwhile he started signing in the documents and then said that my VISA is approved and I will be getting the passport within 5 working days.
I would suggest all to be not to panic during interview.
