Thanks to this wonderful site which has given lot of information to many ppl like me to boost the confidence. I already had visas for 4 different countries earlier including US B1 visa, but this was my first application for US work visa - so i had butterflies flying all around in my stomach just like others.
My L1 Blanket Visa was approved today.
My Interview was scheduled at 9 AM, I was with my family at the consulate by 8:30, Hyderabad Consulate simply rocks.. excellent facilities compared to other locations I have seen. Since I was with my kid I got a VVIP treatment thanks to my kiddo. Done will all the formallies security check, dd, finger prints then waited for 10 mins for my call ...
VO: Scanned my docs, checked his PC for more details.. never looked at me at all then asked my just 1 question
What will you do in US ?
My Ans : Blah Blah Blah...(Simply & Short)
checked his system for another 1 min, stamped my I29 papers, took the passports and the golden words you will get your passports in a week's time(I will take this as VISA Approved).
Just be cool and confident.
