Dear Friends,
I need help form all of you in getting to know the criteria of L1B.
I am working with xyz company since August'06 and in Nov'06 I flied to US and stayed for 6 months (I had my i-94 for 6 months). In the mean time my employer filed my H1B and everybody knows the story that Application was selected thru lottery system and mine was not selected.
Now the question is I am going to complete 1 year in July'07 in this company and they wanted to file my L1. Lator, I heared that to file L1 emloyee should be emplyed to the comapny for 1 year and during 1 year If emplyeed visit US then those period will not be counted in 1 year.
In my case I stated 6 months in US so, they will minus the 6 months from 12 months ?
then, I need to stay in India for n months till I complete my 12 months ?
Please reply me back If any if you have idea about this.
