L1 individual and L2
I went with my wife for the visa interview at Chennai on Friday the 13th. I had a good experience. Let me assure all you guys 80% of things are already done before the interview and the interview does not have much weight. You would know before hand that your L1 will be approved or not. Let me metion some tips.
* If you dont have a degree in IT or comp science and if you are from some IT firm then NEVER apply under blanket visa. Always go for individual and if possible ask your company to apply under premium processing as this will increase the weight of your petition also.
* Go with all the documents, letters, experience letter, marriage certificate etc.
* If you have more than 1 year of experience in the current company then you should be confident that there will be less problem.
* Answer in minimum number of words
* Dont show any signs of nervousness.

They asked following quesstions to me.
1. How long you have been working with your current company ?
Ans. 3 Years 1 month

2. How long you have been married ?
Ans. 4 months.

3. Where will you work in US ?
Ans. California.

Thats it.

Individual approved petition is a strong one. and if you dont have any criminal case against you in the US then you will surely get the visa.

Good luck to all..
