L1A - Individual - Approved
Thanks to others for sharing their experiences and thought i will also add mine.
I had applied for the L1A Individual visa.

OFC Experience -
Tip #1
The process itself is so easy. All you need is the DS-160 confirmation page and the visa appointment page along with passport. So dont have to bring your entire document set along with you. I saw people bringing huge bundles of documents which is unnecessary.

Tip #2
DO NOT COME 15 MINS BEFORE YOUR ALLOTTED TIME. I did that mistake and i came at 1 pm for my 2 pm slot. Had to wait in the sun for 90 minutes and Chennai Sun is still pretty strong even if it is december) .
Just come 15 minutes before your time and even if the line is long, the security will let in only the people whose appointment is next. I saw people who were having the 4pm slot stand along with me. This is not the airport and you do not need to be there 3 hours before takeoff.

CONSULATE Experience
Tip #1 - cell phone, water bottles not allowed. If you do, not a big issue. You can still deposit it next door where the guy checks your appointment letter and puts your stuff in a sealed bag for 10Rs and gives you a token

Once inside, you take a token and that is your number for the rest of the day.
You go through 2 counters. First one will rearrange your documents and put them out separately. This is what you will need to show to the officer. 2nd counter is for checking your finger prints again. Then you go to a different building which is the Visa office. there are lot of counters and you just have to watch if your number shows up on the screen.

Now to the important part. VISA QUESTIONS

1) What company are you with?
2) Is this an individual visa?
3) What is your current role?
4) What will be your new role?
5) Where will be working out of ?
6) Who will you be reporting to ?
7) How many people will be reporting to you?

and then " Ok Sir, Your visa has been approved and you will get it within 7 days" .

Tips -
1) Be confident in your answers
2) Dont have to dress up in blazers or ties just because it is a L1A visa but speak boldly and more confidently.
3) In your explanations dont give the impression that you are a frontline manager
4) Stick to what is written in your BEP letter and justification letter. Doesnt matter if it is different now or if you are working in a different project etc. Dont complicate things
5) go through this site and you will find the set of questions usually asked. 99% of the time, it is the same set
that you will also be asked. So practice it and practice it well.
6) How much ever you prepare you are bound to get a little nervous but dont let that get to you. The visa officer is also Human and his job is to make sure you are genuine, so play it cool, stick to your story and explain it in simple words.
