Here is my experience for interview scheduled for my family of 3(myself, spouse, kid).
Biometrics - Dec 5th, Chennai:
Documents required was recent passport, DS160 confirmation page, Appointment confirmation page, photograph in case of any kid
Was done with entire process in 10 minutes.
Consular Interview - Dec 6th, Chennai:
VO: Can i have your passport?
Me: Handed over passport.
VO: Is it L1 blanket or individual
Me: Individual
VO: what will be your salary?
Me: XXX,XXX USD
VO to spouse: What is your highest qualification madam?
Spouse: Answered
VO: Your visa is approved!
We said Thank you! and left counter.
