Thanks to this forum for boosting the confidence & preparation.

I attended both OFC and interview on same day in Chennai.
OFC was scheduled for 8am. I reached the venue by 7.40 and for free by 8.10. Quite simple & fast. Mobiles are allowed, though in switch off mode. They asked to reach for interview only 15 mins prior. You have to take the same D160 copy that you use for OFC.

Interview was at 10.30, so I went back to hotel & went to consulate at 10am. There were huge long lines on both sides of the entrance. Q was moving slowly. One guy checked the appointment & D160, stamped the date and let me go through. I realized he was just sending all to another long queue. Finally after all security checks I was in. Pretty organised after that. Your finger prints are checked, fee is paid, ticket number is issued & there are officials who will sort your docs you need for interview. Wait for your turn. When your ticket number flashes, go to counter & join the small queue.

Here goes my interview:
VO: Hi
Me: Hi, Good morning.
He started checking the documents and punching information on pc. I guess he as checking my application & took some time. I was waiting for my questions & trying to keep calm & confident. He started stamping something.. He said, I approve your visa, and this is your copy....

I was surprised.. He got all the information from D160 itself I guess. :)

Tip: Be cool & confident. Only if they have any doubts they will ask questions. Just to clarify.
Also, at consulate I found there are new counters (seems local) who keep your stuff with them and give you a token. I did not know about this & had left my phone & bag at hotel. Anyways, that saved me a lot of time too..
