L1, L2 Visa

I work for a product based organization.
I went with my spouse and 5 year old son for the interview.

The interview was ok but not a perfect one. It started with a set of friendly questions :

1. Where will you work?
2. what is your Indian salary and US salary?
3. what do you do?
4. what is your specialization?

I couldn't give the last answers very well,probably because of nervousness. I work for product integration and prouct services but the moment I used these words the VO
instantly interrupted me asking cross questions. She said they dont think that integration and services need any specialized knowledge.
I tried to justify explaining the complexity of the product as well as the customization and modification needed in products to integrate it.
While she was asking the questions , she did stamped "cancelled" on my earlier US visas , which were expired.
A min after the discussion we were told that visa is approved. Not sure what helped, my explaination or destiny, but all went well in the end:)

My only suggestion is try to avoid these words..."services" and "integration", if possible. And incase you need to use them, be prepared to justify the specialization in it.
Also be calm throught out and don't panic. Confidence matters but not overconfidence.

For my spouse, there were only two questions. How long have you been married, and where was your son born. But for him, she gave a blue 212g form as the lamination of
the passport was coming out. we were asked to get this fixed and courier the passport back to the consulate to get the visa. We did get it fixed and couriered it through VFS chennai, the same day.
