L1B Approved - Chennai Consulate
First of all, this website really helped me a lot. Thanks to everyone who shared their experiences.
Although it's a long one, but do read. Tips included that helped me win time and kept me confident.

OFC - 19th Dec Hyderabad
My VISA OFC was in hyderabad on 19th Dec. Easy line and simple process.
Carry the following in-order: (that's what i carried)
1) Appointment Letter
2) DS160-
make sure your address is the same as where you are going to have your interview. So my interview was in chennai and my address was written as chennai consulate. one of the guy had filled it as hyderabad for L1 visa interview and later on he changed it. The people who were checking the documents asked him to take another printout which had address as chennai. So make sure you carry both.
3) MRV fee receipt.

Visa Interview - 30th Dec, Chennai
My interview was scheduled at 10:30. I was having second thoughts about my morning flight getting delayed since we have issues with spice jet flights, I thought of heading to chennai a day before. Stayed in Oriental Inn(gave a complimentary drop to consulate) so you avoid the hassle of getting auto's and high prices.

Reached there at around 9:50. I saw a line which was kept for keeping your bags and stuff which is not allowed. Since i stayed in the hotel, I left all the unwanted things(mobile, electronic items etc. they don't even allow inhalers) and just had a transparent folder. Luckily, a guy told me to skip this line. This saved time.

During the entry, they will ask you for your passport and DS-160 Form. Make sure you don't have anything in your pocket's as they will ask you to leave the line and submit the same.
There will be another security check after that.
After this you will be asked for your passport to get your token number. Wait for your turn to submit your DD/Cash/Cheque.

IMPORTANT : The Visa Fraud fees is now INR 32000/- instead of INR 31000/-. Please check with your HR since the exchange rate is changed. I was asked to give extra 1000/- cash since I was carrying DD of INR 31000/-.

Document arrangement.
since you will get 3 copies of I-129S and I797. keep them in the order mentioned below and remove the rest and keep it as support documents. This will save time. VFS guys will help you out and will wrap it out in a rubber band.
Passport
DS-160
{I129S - 4 pages , I797 - First page} x 3

Wait for your TURN.

Questions asked :
VO: Which company do you work for?
Me: XYZ company

VO: And you will be working for which company ?

VO: What's your location?

VO: For how long?

while answering, VO asked what kind of tools,
Me: told

VO: Sir, could you please tell me For how long you are going to stay?
Me: Told the same.

VO: looking at the screen and typing something. I was able to get a glimpse of what she was doing by looking at a keyboard( Do not look hear and there was the next thought came into my mind. but I was able to guess.) VO was trying to search if you really told the truth. Since the tools I told were proprietary.

VO: (after few pauses) Sir, What I am going to do is, I am going to approve your Visa. Please submit one copy to HR and show the other copy while entering USA. Enjoy your Stay. and handed me over the 2 copies of I129S and I797.
Me: Thankyou and have a Happy New Year.

Few things
Followed the trick of Keeping important documents in one and support documents in other.(Nice tip given by forum).
I read a lot about consulate being flooded with people and it's very crowded. It's actually TRUE.

Few things to remember.
You are specialized in something, Make sure you know what to answer and not just plain answers like (it's my experience),
You are different from others that's why company is sending you. you should be able to tell the same in the interview.
Prepare your answers. Don't just mug them up.
Follow what is written in your DS-160 and petition documents. Read each document once.
Have breakfast before your go. Dont panic. Even if you do, don't look around. Just clear your mind and focus why you are here.

All the Best.
