My interview was on 27th May at 9 AM, I reached there by 8:15 AM.
Don’t carry any electronics, we can carry watch, some money & card in case of any emergency.
They will check OFC stamp on back side of Pass Port and let you in, they let me in immediately.
We need to stand on roadside footpath if we reach early, so 30-45mins before interview is good.
They will ask us to arrange documents in specific order
Better to prepare 3 sets of I129s + I797
With those 3 sets carry passport, DS160 confirmation and DD.
The DS-160 should be same as the one that got stamped during OFC (biometric).
The guy at counter mistakenly returned I797 in the set that was supposed to be taken by consulates (this set will have DD receipt & DS160 confirmation), and I kept in file.
When rechecking, I found & as it was moving queue I got tensed up & took bit of time to find where the document is.
After arranging we need to go to DD counter (we can also pay cash, with card), there we pass on DD and get receipt
So this DD receipt, DS160 confirmation + 1 set for consulates to retain will be stapled.
After this we will move to another queue where finger print will be verified (this is just verification, my Biometric was done in HYD 3 days before)
Finally, the interview queue.

Interview was on Counter-19, that guy know about my Company (Semiconductor MNC).
Mine is permanent transfer, so I was little tensed.
Have you traveled to US before? No
Then he showed my H4 Stamp and asked with expression how.
My wife already moved to US 6 months back.
Which company does your wife work for. Her client is big MNC in US.
How long will you stay in US. 3 years
For how long have you been working with current MNC. 6 years 1 month
Where will you be working in US. HQ
How much is your salary going to be. $1xxk + stocks
What is your designation going to be.
What is your highest degree (I am masters).
What are your specialties (special skill, knowledge)? He asked this question twice.
I gave very lengthy answered, I think its better to give in 2-3 sentences.
Then I think he googled on terms that I said “ASIC”, “Physical Design”, and started asking me
Do you work on this semiconductor technology, that semiconductor technologies? Sounded like some recent research papers. But in fact he checked Wiki and asked couple of terms in it. I said NO.
Finally, golden words after 1-2 mins of silence, your VISA is approved, good luck. I am out of consulate by 9:15.
I have also carried
3 months pay slips with Company stamp.
3 months bank statement with bank stamp.
