L1, L2 Visa

On the day of VAC appointment. They asked for below documents:
1. DS-160 confirmation page
2. Appointment letter
3. Original Passports

Please keep your pen drive or other electronic items at home, otherwise you have to deposit them at the ground floor of the building, which seems to be operated by some private owner.

On the day of consular appointment. One thing to remember is not to bring backpacks or any other closed bags. I took my laptop bag along with me and they got it deposited before consular office itself. Only open carry bags are allowed. So, I would suggest you to carry open carry bags otherwise you need to carry all your documents by hand. Now, finally the questions are:

To me :
What is the name of your company.
Ans: Name of my Indian company. She did not seem to get name of this company so I added little about the domain of my company.
How long you have been working with this company.
Ans: I told the duration . 3yrs
What is your designation
Ans: Told her the same
What will be your salary
Ans: Told her
What is your specialization.
Ans: I've expertise in ... I've advance level of understanding of ...
How many employees in your company have worked on this device driver.
Ans: Told her the no.
How many employees are there in US?
Ans: Told her the no.
Why are they send you only and not any of the other employees who worked on this device driver.
Ans: I'm key lead employee. I've total experience of 12 years. I've expertise in ... and couple of other sentences which prove I'm unique among other employees, as per my cover letter given by employer.
What is your marriage date:
Ans: Told her the date

Wife:
What is your highest qualification
How old is your daughter

Then came the approval and she stamped two copies of I129S. Thanks to everyone for contributing to this community.
