Important: We did not carry original approved petition(I-797). We had tough time convincing the staff in first counter. Luckily we were allowed to take the final visa interview. Please carry original petition.

The facial expression of visa officer changed. Raising eye brows, banging the keyboard and we are tensed.

A. I am into application development, testing, preparation of design documents and customer support for the applications developed in BPM tool called ____
Q. What is this tool?
A. Explained about the tool
Q. What type of applications you can develop with this tool?
A. This tool is mostly suitable for developing Finance and Banking related applications.
Q. What are the applications you have developed?
A. Answered accordingly.
Q. How long you are working with this company and the tool?
A. 21 Months.
Q. What will be your role in US?
A. Explained.
That's it. We heard the golden words: Your visa is approved. It is a very first interview of all of us and we have around 2 years of working experience.
Tip 1: Prepare well, especially role in India vs US
Tip 2: Project Description.
Tip 3: Reach consulate early to avoid last minute hurry.
Tip 4: Frame your words nicely especially explaining about specialized tools. Some of us couldn't explain the tool well (If you can't convince then confuse" :-)).
