I want to thank this forum and all who put their experiences. It really helped me to prepare well in advance.

While going to consulate don't time mobile phones and any other digital items like CD, pen drive etc. Only bring your documents and that too in simple plastic bags.
I would suggest for marriage pictures don't bring your marriage album. I saw one lady bringing a huge album and was struggling to carry it. Rather you can take separate 10 pics. That is enough.

Also, those who have minor spelling mistakes or few details wrong in the DS160, DO NOT WORRY. When you go for document verification you can tell them the mistake. Fill up a few DS160 in advance and give them the few DS160 confirmation sheet. They will accept it.

The visa interview windows are very near to each other and others can see and hear our conversation with the VO. Dont bother about what others are hearing or seeing. Just be confident and loud in answering.

Following is my experience of the interview.

me: Good morning Sir.
VO: Good morning
---I passed my documents and he removed and separated and was looking at them and typing something on the computer.
VO: how many years are you with xxx company
me: 4 years
VO: how much is your total experience
me: 7 yrs 3 months
VO: what are you going to do?
me: explained about my project in US and put words like propriety and unique to my company solution provided to the client
VO: what kind of training you have undergone to get this special skill (yyy)
--I had before explained to him my expertise in yyy.
me: I told 3 different trainings,total 4 weeks and more than that my experience while actually working has given me the expertise
VO: which client are you going to work for?
me: ABCD
VO: why only you have been chosen for this project? tell me something other than you are for so long in the company?
me: told about the technology, domain, total experience etc. that I have edge over others.

While he was asking me the questions, he was typing on the computer.

Then he stamped my 2 I129 and gave it back to me and said your visa is approved and you will get the passport in a week's time.

He did not ask my wife any question. He just looked at her. Not even for my daughter.

Its quite easy. Dont worry. The person before me was struggling to answer and even his English so not so good and even then he got the visa. Be confident, dont look around here and there.
