It was tensed as well as an amazing experience for me and my wife on 15th of Oct. I would like to thank this site a lot as I got plenty of information. I prepared almost like for an exam :) which paid off finally.

Interview questions:
Me: Good morning Ma'am
VO: Good morning
VO: How long have you worked in the current company?
Me: Told
VO: What is your salary in India?
Me: Told
VO: What is your salary in US?
Me: Told
VO: Who is your client in US?
Me: Told
VO: Are you working out of your parent company or at Client location?
Me: I will be working in the Client location
VO: What are you going to work there?
Me: I started explaining...
VO: Interrupted me, and asked specifically about a term that I used.
Me: I explained it in lay-man's terms or simple words so that she could understand
VO: Ok, I got it

VO to my wife: How long have you been married
My wife: Told
VO to my wife: Was it a love marriage or an arranged one (with a smile)
My wife: Arranged
VO to my wife: Did you know each other before? Are you relatives?
My wife: No

Golden words from the VO
VO: I am approving your Visa...
Me: Thanks a lot Ma'am, Have a nice day
VO: You are welcome, You too

Suggestion:
I saw two rejections (from different VOs) just before my approval. The questions from the interviewers seem to be quite reasonable. I felt the candidates were unable to give reasonable answers though they were speaking confidently. But I might be wrong.

Things to remember:
- Answer to the point when necessary. Example, answer to the point for client name, experience, salary,etc...

- Answer specifically and briefly for questions related to the work or specialized knowledge.
  Avoid using words/phrases like:
   - I am very specialized in so and so skill
   - I am the only member who could do this job
   - words like huge, special, only, etc, various, many

- When interrupted and asked about specific details, then try to explain it in simple terms only. Do not try to impress rather try to make them understand what it is.

- If VO asks a question to your wife, let her answer. You should never ever utter a single word or should never correct her.

Bottom line:
- Try to be very specific in your answer. Your answer as a whole, should give an impression that you have specialized knowledge. You should not be trying to prove by using generalized statements or words, which will lead to misconception or which might give an impression that you are trying to bluff.

- Preparation is the key. You should be able to state your specialized knowledge within 1 or 2 minutes which gives whole lot of information.
Example: Telling a film story in matter of 5 minutes! It is tough but can be lot of fun :)

- Above all is luck!

Good Luck!
