L1B/L2
Hi all,
Thanks all for your valuable suggestions.

I am sharing my exp at US consulate Chennai for my L1B and L2 for my wife.
Result : Got Visa stamped for both of us.

I had a very good experience with the Officer at Consulate.

I believe i was at counter for Tamil candidates. Since no Tamil candidate was in waiting, i got my token assinged to him.

My intital Q&A was in Tamil
Officer:Do u know tamil?
me:I said i know little bit
Officer:Where are you coming from ?
me:i m from bangalore
Officer: I dont know kannada, so its better that we talk in English.
me: Ok.

Questions now started in English.
I had displayed my company id near to my pocket.
Officer: Oh you work for XYZ?
me: yes.
Officer: how long are you working for XYZ.
me: I am working for XYZ for the past abc yrs and pqr months.
Officer: Have you ever been rejected a B1 visa?
me : yes
Officer: Why was it rejected?
me: I said the reason for that.
Officer: How many candidates got rejected ?
me : I said pqr number of candidates from my team got rejected for the same reason last year.
Officer: What's your specialized skill?
me: I just explained him appropriately.

-- Next to my wife.

Officer: Madam, pls come forward.
Officer pointed at me and asked her. who is that person?
wife: He is my husband.
Officer: Are you sure , confident ?
wife: yes i am sure.
Officer: How long are your married?
wife: we are married for xyz years.
Officer: how was it through matrimonial newspaper/ websites / friends & family ?
wife: Through friends & family.

He typed something in his system and then started folding our papers and tagged it with our passports and put those into on small basket.
Then he said. so that's it, u can travel to US, your visa has been approved ; and have a safe journey.
Then gave back two copies of my I-29S document which was stamped with his name; and instructed me to give one copy ot HR and keep one with me while i travel. if i dont show this copy at Airport, u can come back to india the same moment you land in US. So its important to keep this document handy while you travel.
We thanked him and wished him a nice day ahead.

That's it.
