L1, L2 Visa

I had my L2 visa interview question today morning 8:30 am in Hyderabad consulate.
I reached quite early, had to wait till 8:00 am. After entering to gate there was a separate line for BEP. but 90% of people were standing in that line only . I had to stand in the line for more than 1 hour, that is under direct sunlight, that was really tiresome. So, Do your breakfast well before coming for visa interview.

Below are the questions he asked:
VO: good morning
Me: good morning, pass on my BEP holder to him.
VO: So, how long you are working in YYYY company?
ME: I am not working in ZZZ, my husband is working there, I am here for L2 visa.
VO: ohhk, When did you get married?
ME: xx yyy 2009
VO: 2010??
ME: no, 2009
VO: show me your husband’s visa petition
ME: sure…shown
VO: show me his passport copy
Me: shown…
VO: Have you ever been to US earlier
Me: no, I haven’t been to US earlier
VO: why you have two names..
ME: another is my maiden name, before my marriage. ( I had changed my surname after my marriage)
 (While generating DS160, I had mentioned my maiden name under ‘have you ever been known with different name’ section)
VO: (He typed something…..)
VO: your marriage was arranged?
ME: yes
VO: who arranged it?
ME: through relatives
VO: have you ever visited US
Me: (surprised!! Why he is asking same question again !!!) No, sir
VO: Ok, where is your husband?
ME: he is in xxx city
VO: When did he leave India?
ME: Before 15 days
VO: (was doing something for 15 seconds…..)
VO: after long time he said….your visa is approved you can receive…..
ME: thank you…with big smile 

His voice was not clear to me. In fact I was able to listen voice of next counter more clear than his. May be my voice was also not clear to him….so be loud while giving your answer, forget that you will be audible to many other people standing behind you.
