Sept 4th Interview. Complete silence from USCIS
Hi everyone, we're applying for a EB-2 GreenCard. Our interview was on September 4th in Newark, and it went pretty well.

At the end of the interview, they gave me a paper that says: Your I-485 interview is complete. However your priority date is not current at this time. Your case will be transferred to the Texas Service Center or National Benefits Center until your priority date becomes current. Once your priority date becomes current, the TSC or NBC will make the final decision on your case.

My current case status is: Case Was Transferred and a New Office Has Jurisdiction.

My lawyer placed a service request on November 1st. An answer was expected by November 26th, which didn't happen. My lawyer says this is normal given the volume at the beginning months of the fiscal year, however I'm kinda of getting worried about it.

Anyone else in a similar situation? Any advices?

Thanks!
