US Business Visa denied twice.
Visa Interview (Ist) Type B1/B2 Interview.
=========================================
I think I was denied because they suspected me of employment activity in US.

VO: Can you give me your passport please.
Me: Handed over the passport.

VO: What is your purpose of travel ?
Me: I am software engineer at X Company in New Delhi, India which is a subsidiary of Y Company based in NY, USA. A product will be going live next month and I will be required to be there for its deployment,

VO: What is the duration of your travel ?
Me: 30 days or 4 weeks. Initially it was only 2 weeks but then the requirement was such that i will have to be there for 4 weeks.

VO: What do you do ?
Me: I am a full stack engineer or you can call me a software engineer.

VO: Handed me 204(B). When I asked the reason , he said - This is not the right category of Visa that you are applying. Please tell your company X that you need to reapply with the right category.

Visa Interview (2nd) Type B1 Interview after 2 weeks.
=========================================
I was denied again. As per my DS-160, my visit was supposed to be of 12 days from Oct 30 to Nov 12, 2017. I wasn't asked for any documents (They ask for in very rare cases).

VO: Good morning, can I have your passport please.
Me: Good Morning, Sure.

VO: What is your purpose of travel ?
Me: I will be travelling to have extensive product training on two of our main products i.e., X and Y. I will be providing the same training to the Indian engineering team that I am leading once I come back. I will also be meeting our US clients like A, B and C to understand their requirements and speed up development from India.

VO: Have you worked at company Z (my previous company which is popular in India and known to everyone).
Me: Yes

VO: How long have you worked at Z.
Me: 2 years, exactly.

VO: Why haven't you travelled for business before ?
Me: I had some opportunities at company Z to travel to Toronto and HongKong but post its acquisition by company X(another giant compnay), circumstances changed and the the opportunities weren't left over.

VO: Your Accommodation in NY? This question was not clear to me, So, I asked her to repeat. I am doubtful if she asked about my month long accommodation here in India before i travel to US.
Me: Hampton Inn Manhattan

VO: What is your compensation ?
Me: X lpa (very good)

VO: What was your initial(first) salary ?
Me: Y lpa (decent enough)

VO: Do you have any oversees relatives ?
Me: No

VO: Are you married?
Me: No

VO: Have you been to any other country so far ?
Me: No

VO: Sorry, you can reapply when the circumstances change. I was handed 214(b) refusal i.e., I wasn't able to demonstrate close ties with my country.
Me: (Lost in darkness with a gloomy face.)

Please guide me on how can I proceed from this stage ?
