1. 05/30/2015. Filed by Company A.
We received your Form I-140, Immigrant Petition for Alien Worker ..
2. In October the Company A sold the division and it became Company B.
3. On November 14, 2015, we approved your Form I-140, Immigrant Petition for Alien Worker
This was the i140 which Company A had filed.
4. In December Company B filed the amendment for L1 A from Company B since the company B was a new company. It was approved in January.
5. 01/28/2016 We received your Form I-140, Immigrant Petition for Alien Worker
The Successor of interest for the i140 was filed. This was filed by Company B.

We accepted the fingerprint fee for your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status. Our Nebraska Service Center location is working on your case.
My wife's company don't allow concurrent filing of i140 but since the first I140 was approved they filed the I485 this time immediately after the I140 filed from Company B.
On the above date I485 was filed for me, my wife and our son.
7. Within a month we got our finger print and our EAD card came in March 26th for all of US.
8. 11/04/2016. On this date all our cases were transferred from Nebraska to Texas Centre. I140 and I485.
We transferred your Form I-140, Immigrant Petition for Alien Worker , to another USCIS office that now has jurisdiction over your case.
9. 01/20/2017. We received RFE on the I140. It was basically what the company does and internal details about the company product and etc.
We mailed a request for additional evidence for your Form I-140, Immigrant Petition for Alien Worker .
10 In November 2016 we had to file again the EAD/AP as our EAD was expiring. My wife and Son's EAD came in January but my EAD came only in April 1st week.
11. On February 28th, 2017, we received your response to our Request for Evidence for your Form
I-140.
12. On March 20th I140 was approved. Although USCIS site still shows it as RFE response received but our Lawyer sent us the I140 approval notice.
13. On March 22nd we got RFE on i485.
14. On March 27th we got the notice and RFE was about medical with gonorrhea test. Since one year were passed and we all got RFE we knew it would be medical.
15. On March 31st we sent the Sealed Medical to our Lawyer.
16. On April 11th TSC center received the RFE response.
17. On April 28th, we got the following update.
In the morning 6 AM-- CARD in production.
In the evening 6 PM-- I485 Approved Status.
Current Status is I485 approved.
So wanted to know when we will get the card ? Will we get the notice and then card or both will be sent together.
It has been a long 2 year wait but a fruitful wait. We only opened one service request for my second EAD/AP as it had crossed 120 days.
