The interview was pretty standard. I was asked to confirm my full name and address. I was then asked all the yes/no questions on the I-485 form. I was asked to briefly describe my job duties, where I received from PhD from, and my experience in the military (since I had served in my home country and indicated so on my I-485). The officer approved the application at the end of the interview. I did not receive email / text updates on my case after the interview (my uscis still says it has been last updated 11/1/2017), and received the green card in my mail and the approval notice on 12/11/2017.
