INTERVIEW EXPERIENCE of LA FIELD OFFICE
Guys i have not been interviewed. I am pasting information from other websites to help people prepare for interview -
DOCUMENTS AND POSSIBLE INTERVIEW QUESTIONS:
"I have complied a list for my own purpose from multiple threads. This should cover most of questions but feel free to scan through other threads.
As usual started with Oath, Photos, finger printing followed by attorney waiver signature.
IO asked the DL, Passport and original interview letter.
Officer verified my legal name, DOB, current address, phone number?
Officer collected the Employement verification letter and paystubs.
since mine approved I140, verified Is pertioner same for I485.
Are you or your spouse are relatives to the owner of the company?
Verified the visa status/transfers like H1 to L1 etc..
I94 travel history and last entry to US.
Verified about passport/visa lost anytime? Has anyone travelled with you passport/visa etc?
What company do I work for? What does my company do?
How long have I worked for my company?
What is my role in the company?
Officer writing down all these details in the application
How many marriages you had? I said only one.
What are the first names of parents and spouse
Asked all Y/N questions from the i485 application
Finally She verified and confirm that my I485J and Medicals are fine.
Marriage Proofs -- Lease, Tax Returns jointly, Car insurance, 401K etc.
For EB1 C
1.what was my role on L1B and specialty
2.what was the name over seas branch of my office
3. When did I join the overseas company branch and for how long did I work there
4. When did I come on L1A
5. How many people I am managing now and how on L1A
6. tell me about your job, what is the best part of your job,
7. Some questions from the medical exam. My TB skin test was "undetermined", so I explained that I did chest xray and it came back negative
8. Later she asked about my previous entry dates/visa categories in the US. I had taken all my I797’s (from 2003) with me. Then she asked us yes/no questions (based on I485
INTERVIEW START
Los Angeles interview: It was a friendly interview, the officer asked me to confirm Name, DOB, Address, Job duties, Yes/No questions. Also he asked for the EVL, new medical examination, pay stubs, birth and marriage certificate and copy of my degree. I didn't carry a copy of my degree, but he said that was okay because it was included with my I140 application. After that the officer asked my wife the when/how and where about our relationship, also asked proof of our relationship like photos and joint documents.
