Expired passport for I485
Hello,
I am one of the January 2017 appliers. I have just received an RFE. One matter is the medical exam, as expected. But, the unexpected request is to "submit a copy of the biographical page of the currently-valid passport which clearly shows your name and photo. "
My passport expired almost 8 moths later than my application and currently it is impossible for me to renew my passport. According the I485 instructions of USCIS, this should not be a problem and an expired passport should be accepted for ID.
I wonder if anyone in this forum heard of or experiences a similar request. Please share if you have experiences something similar.
