Overall Interview Experience: We had a lawyer go with us during the interview upon company’s suggestion. The interview was for me and my wife, which is my derivative. Our interview officer was very nice and to the point. She started with our basic information, our travel history to US. Make sure you know of entire travel history, even beyond what is included on I 485. She started first with me, asked me about my job, responsibilities, how long I have worked there and so on. She specifically asked for latest W2s, pay stubs, Tax Statements and latest offer letter showing same job title as the I 140 (quick recommendation: make sure your documents are organized before you go. I had a binder with everything labeled and she was glad that I did that). Then, she asked my wife for when we got married, how long we have known each other, why did we get married in the US and so on. She stuck only to the information that was part of I485. Since we added supplement documentation as part of the application, those questions were fair game. After the interview, she told us that she if there are no inconsistencies in the documentation that we provided her during the interview, she will approve the case for both us. Case was approved on the same day and cards were received exactly a week later.
