Hello,

We just had our I-485 approved. Paying back to this beautiful community by sharing my complete experience.

Nationality: Egypt
I-140 / I-845 type concurrent : EB2

May 2016: H1B petition filed with premium processing (not available now I think)
May 2016: 2 weeks later: H1B status approved
December 2016: Family back home applied for H4 visas and got it
February 2017: Prevailing Wage, department of labor, permanent employment filed
May 2017: Travelled back to home country and issued H1B visa stamp on passport for me and H4 for family
October 2017: Permanent employment petition approved
November 2017: I-140 and I-485 (me and dependents) filed (I did not apply for AED or Advanced parole as I
11/15/2017: Notice of receiving received by mail
11/30/2017: Appointment for biometric received
12/28/2017: Biometrics done
12/2017: I-140 notice of approval received
January 2018: Medical done and mailed (immigration said they didn't receive it and I had to do another copy of the forms and presented in the interview)
03/15/2018: Your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status, was transferred to another office for processing. They noved it to NSC
03/2015: Application moved to field office (St Albans, NY)
04/11/2018: Ntice of interview scheduled
05/21/2018: Interview and approval on the spot. Cards are in mail
