Interview experiences (Irving, TX): We reached 25 min early for the interview. Waited about 45 min and got the call for the interview and officer walked us (me and my wife) to her room. At the beginning she explained the process. Had to sign the attorney waiver. Then took figure prints. Then asked for driver license and told us to stand and sworn the oath.

Once done then she quickly went through my file and asked few papers like employment letter, pay stubs, w2s and tax papers, marriage certificate and recent i-94. And also mentioned as I am with the same employer don’t need of from J. Though my attorney prepared one in case if they ask. I have provided all she asked 6 pay stubs and two years w2 and tax papers.

Then she went through some sample questions from I140 and I485. Like the employers name, job title, how long I am working for them, current and starting salary.

Then moved to i485. Asked name, address, dob, spouse name, dob and date of marriage. Then went through those 50-60 yes/no questions from i485. (Same questions for wife)

Finally the officer said I will be approving your case after some reviews. All together it took about 40 mins.

I was so lucky that within two hours online case got updated with “New Card Is Being Produced”

Good luck everyone……………
