Interviewed for GC on June 11, 2018
Hi All,

Just wanna share my timeline and experience for category EB-2 Visa Philippines.

My location is in LA, California.

Timeline (total of 15 months processing time for GC):

October 2016 - Start application/PERM Determination
Jan 2017 - PERM
March 2017 - I-140/485/765 Application
June 2017 - I-140/485 Received
Sept 2017 - AED Card Received/Biometric/Fingerprinting
Nov 2017 - SSN processed
March 2018 - I-140 Approved
March 2018 - I-485 Case Transferred
May 2018 - Received interview letter
June 11, 2018 - Interview scheduled at 6:45AM

Be sure to arrived 30minutes before your schedule time. I brought along my lawyer with me and I guess its better as officers will be
very selective in what they will asked.

- I was served around 8:30AM
- Officer asked me to swear to tell the truth
- Officer asked the following questions:
- my full name
- date of birth
- Date of arrival in the States
- Date of exit if any. He asked my why I went back home. I told him there was an emergency back home.
- Whom I am living with in the apartment.
- Yes/No questions in I-485
- Date I started with the company
- He saw my AED was approved Sept 2017 but I started working only in November so he asked why, I said the company asked me to start in November. (give straight answer always.)
- Date of marriage

- Officer asked for the following document:
- Letter of Employment from petitioner
- DL, SSN, and AED
- 3 months payslips
- Tax Return 2017
- Advance Parole document (since i went back home last Dec. 2017)
- Signed I-485 by the employer

Total time in the room was approximately 10 minutes. He printed something, went out, when he got back,he handed my the greatest document I've ever received which says,
"CONGRATULATIONS! WELCOME TO AMERICA!". :-)

Now I'm just waiting for my GC to be mailed home.

Yes, patience is trully a virtue so have one. Read this forum always coz it really helps and make God your partner ALL THE TIME. HE'll be there ALL THE TIME.

God bless to all!

Ken
