Our GC saga is finally over! Good luck to everyone. Sharing our experience for guidance to others.

EB2 / PH

July 17, 2017 - Concurrent filing of I-485, I-140, I-131 & I-765
Aug 9, 2017 - Biometrics (all 4 of us in the family received different schedules but we all went at once—and they accommodated us)
Dec 21, 2017 - Received combo card in the mail
April 27, 2018 - After almost 10 months, I-140 got approved
May 14, 2018 - “Case transferred to NBC” (with letter in the mail)
May 16, 2018 - “We transferred your case to another office for processing”
June 5, 2018 - Received Courtesy Letter for daughter stating that I-693 does not indicate if all vaccines were completed (we just went back to our Doctor and he issued another sealed I693 for her and brought this to the interview)
June 13, 2018 - Interview was scheduled
July 26, 2018 - Actual interview schedule (RFEs for new medicals since ours was expired already and updated Employment Verification Letter)
Aug 2, 2018 - Submitted all RFE docs/medicals at USCIS local office (we underwent new TB and Gonorrhea tests for the new I-693)
Aug 6, 2018 - Received I-485 approval in the mail

Interview Experience - Our schedule was at 7:45am. We came in at 7:30am. We were called around 8:15am. We took oath and fingerprint (just me and my husband, our kids are below 14). IO asked for IDs. I gave our EADs. She then proceeded with Yes/No questions. She asked for new medicals and updated EVL. She said that our application has no problems and just need to get updated docs for technicalities. I brought a bag of docs but she didn’t ask for anything. She was very apologetic since I told her how come we were not given requests for new medicals, we should have brought the new ones in the interview. She also acknowledged that our application is already 1 year in process. She said that it is better to just drop the docs in the office rather than mail. True enough, when we completed the new medicals, I dropped in their office in the morning, we got approval in the website in the afternoon. Overall, interview took just about 15-20 mins.

Good luck to everyone. Patience and prayers worked for us, to keep our sanity in this whole journey.
