What's going on with the Chicago USCIS office?
Hey guys,
Can someone tell me what their experience has been with the Chicago USCIS office?
Background: I am EB1C - concurrently filed in March 2017. My I-140 was approved in May 2018 and then my I-485 got transferred to the local office (Chicago) on May 17, 2018. Since then, there's complete radio silence on the case. I was hoping that the interview will be scheduled and we will be done by at least October, but till now nothing has moved.
The processing times website was showing that they were processing cases for June 2017 a few days back but then suddenly the date moved back to December 2016. I'm totally confused about what to expect - or maybe I shouldn't be expecting anything:)
Anyways, specifically, here are my questions:
1. Has anyone - EB1C - filed in or around May 2017 received their interview calls from Chicago?
2. Has anyone - again EB1C - whose case was transferred to Chicago in or around May 2018 received their interview calls from Chicago?
