This forum is a great idea and so helpful for me to prepare for interview, predict timeline and kept me hopeful always in last 2 years of this journey. It is time to return the favor. So below is my timeline for
Employment based EB2, ROW:
Feb 2017- PERM Process Initiated by employer.
Oct, 31 2017- PERM Approved.
Jan 11, 2018- i-140 filed in Premium.
Jan 20, 2018- RFE received.
Feb 10, 2018- i-140 Approved.
June 15: Applied for I-485/I-765/I-131 concurrently
July 25: Biometrics done.
Sept 05: EAD received for my spouse [did not send any EAD for me]
Sept 12: Interview Notice Received.
Oct 15: Interview Scheduled. It was approved on Spot.
Oct 17: Status Changed to Card Mailed
Oct 18: Status changed to USPS picked the mail and assigned a tracking number
Oct 19: Card got in hand.
Interview experience: We were a bit nervous, especially because I had a couple of typo mistakes in my i-485 form. But it went pretty smooth.We appeared there 30 mins before the scheduled time. IO was very nice and friendly. She asked some basic questions related to our marriage, birth date and Yes/No questions from i-485 forms. Apart from Passport and anotehr identification proof (we have driving licenses) she did not ask any other document. We were prepared with all documents but she did not ask them. After the interview she told that it is approved from her end and i should get it based on visa availability.
