485 EB3 Pakistan 'Case Was Approved'
Today my case status changed to what is mentioned. I'd gotten a little disheartened and left this site and then I came back about a month back to check on some of the folks who'd been waiting for long and realized that they'd already gotten their cards three four months back and so I was glad for them but thought why me :) I see that there are folks who've been waiting for as much as 10 months after the interview. Anyway here's my crazy experience timeline:
Feb 2017: 140 filed
Feb 2017: 140 approved
March 21 2017: 485 filed
May 2017: Combo Card Recieved
Nov 2017: Supp J RFE
Dec 2017: Supp J response
Feb 2018: Contacted NJ senators office was told case is in normal processing time
April 2018: Second Combo Card received
May 2018: Switched employers, moved to Charlotte, NC
May 2018: Case ready to scheduled for interview NJ :(
May 2018: had already done the address change before the schedule but just got into bad timing of changing address two days before the status change. Contacted USCIS and senators office to move file
June 2018: Info Pass to see where the case was. Apparently sent to an office at virgin islands where the name of the office is Charlotte rd USCIS :(
July 2018: Info pass to see where the case was... found out it is being moved from Virgin Islands
July End 2018: Senators office response saying scheduled for end of August
August 10 2018: Rescheduled interview for August 28th
August 28th 2018: Long interview about 55 mins. Lot of questions regarding the job. Professional officer. Shook hands in the end and will let me know because of retrogression.
Sep 15 2018: Info pass to see what is going on. Was told the case was at NBC.
Oct 31st 2018: Text that there was a status change. Heart beat went up to 1000 beats a minute. 'Interview cancelled and notice sent'. I was actually calm because I'd read this forum and what that meant
Oct 31st 2018: Senators office forwarded email from USCIS that case was approved
Nov 1st 2018: 'Case Was Approved'
